I have cruised exclusively with NCL and have completed 7 cruises. NCL has a new boarding policy that is horrible. On all my other cruises you boarded when after you checked in. NCL now issues group boarding numbers. We waited after check in for 45 minutes before being able to began the boarding process. The ship is a sister ship to the pearl which I have been on 3 times.
Food was good but not great. NCL used to have a lobster night that was excellent but stopped it a couple years ago along with a chocolate night. NCL has also rearranged the staff responsibilities and they do not get to leave the ship as they once did. I think being over worked shows on some of the staff members and NCL doesn't seem to care. Under the old CEO staff was taken care of a lot better and cruises were better. We stayed in a balcony room on deck 10 which was very centrally located to both shows, restaurants and other things to do on the ship. We purchased a 5 meal plane and ate at Tappanyaki twice and Cagneys three times.
Tappanyaki- Show was great, Food was amazing. The venue was somewhat cramped and more elbow room would be good.
Great location. No noise.
Doka estate was very informative. Lunch was a joke. The excursion is a nice over view of Cartegena but over priced.
Over view was good. Bus driver didn't now the area and we spent a lot of time lost.
Rain forest is awful. Saw 1 pet toucan and 4 flowers. Seems to be a work in progress.
City tour was excellent along with each stop. One of the best excursions. Saw a lot of volcanoes and other areas.
Tour was ok but not as described. The shopping portion was 1 shop across from the cliff divers.
Good fort. Its across a walkway from the ship. Do it on your own and save money.
Motel need a lot of TLC and its sad to see it in such bad shape.
Great to see. Amazing skill
Excellent excursion, but leaves hardly anytime when you return. Long ride but the scenery is amazing. Lunch was great and the hotel and are of Todos Santos is worth visiting.
