This is not a short review I'll be touching on a lot of subjects.

We've done ten other cruises so we're not newbies, but not as much as my parents who are 90+ trips cruising but they were just on Silhouette so we were comparing the trips between the two sister ships. Here we go.....

Embarkation: We stayed over night Days Inn Hollywood Florida. Probably won't again 'nuff said. We took a private service in to the port as we have had it with the pack 'em full big buses and shuttles. Best thing we ever did. We got there early at 10:45 and there was still a thousand people sitting waiting to leave from the last trip outside the port. There was still agents waiting for our luggage ( I tipped them for the hard work ) and we got up stairs and through security in minutes. Ten minutes later we were sitting down with all the other early people waiting for the all clear to go on.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside disabilty Accessable

Cabin: We had a disability room at my request to the agent we booked through. I wear a brace 60-70 percent of time for arthritis but I told him I would gladly give it up when we arrived if suddenly a wheel chair person needed it, I could survive just fine in a regular inside room. However, no one needed it and I was very pleased to have the extra room to maneuver and the safety bar to help me in the washroom and shower when my knee acted up. I will be posting my video of room 8170 on you tube so check it out eh! Our room steward Ramesh was outstanding!!! When our automatic door went on the fritz he was on it in a flash and went out of his way for us to make sure our things remained safe as the technicians worked on our doors inside and outside room all night and even into the next morning. We would see him monitoring and walking the hallway every time we came by after all our door was open the whole time while it was being fixed and sometimes there were no technicians there. He didn't have to do that but he did. He also made sure our ice bucket was filled and that I had a wine glass waiting for me. We thought he was the best room steward we ever had. Thank you to you and your team Ramesh!

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Grand Cayman: OMG 5 ships in port!! And we were the last to get in....and we were delayed!! Tendering was to start at 10:00 am. A long long long line started on deck 3 for the boats. We didn't get on the tender boats until 11:30!! There were some plenty angry people in line including us. It's bad enough we didn't have a long day here they took away nearly two hours of our time on shore. We didn't realize there was going to be so many ships but we found out when we got to the Royal Palms. It was crazy! We barely found chairs and it was a sea of people so the servers were running their butts off! It is a pricey place, but they have the best conch fritters anywhere! And the ocean was warm and the music (although loud) made for good fun atmosphere for a few hours. We dropped about a hundred dollars for chairs, umbrella and food and drinks. But you would do that on any other excursion anyhow. After that we went to our favorite shops turning right from the ship and walking a ways down you'll come to an open market and some off the beaten track shops. Great place to raid the racks for shirts, dresses and knick knacks.

When we got back to the port for the ferry to go back early.....the line up for the Carnival and RCCL ships were insane!!Ask security which line up is yours, because ours had no one waiting! I felt so sorry for them....especially since we walked right onto our tender after getting free drinks and an ice cloth from Celebrity staff right in front of hot sweaty angry people from other cruise lines and before we even stepped onto the boat two seconds later. You would think they were doing that to make up for the fiasco in the morning, but apparently they do it all the time, because they did it again at Coco Cay.

Too many ships will not get off at this stop again
