Cabin A722 Deck 12 balcony, Aft. We loved the new mattresses and bedding. No issues with the cabin or staff. We like the aft section as we hang out by the rear pool and hot tubs. We find it less crowded. We flew to LA 2 days early and had a great time visiting the LA sites. Booked a rental car from Enterprise located 5 blocks from the pier. Free shuttle included. From LAX we used Uber to get to rental car, this worked GREAT! Embarkation went without issues. We have done the Mexican Riviera before, but the Baja has different ports. San Diego we did the public Hop On Off bus tour. It's located just at the end of the Pier. Found it to be a good option. Cabo we just got off the ship and walked around on our own as we have been there before. La Paz was a Princess tour LAP130A, but found it to be limited and would not recommend. Loreto did Princess tour LTO760B Sea Kayaking, found it to be very good. In Puerto Vallarta did a private Yelpa Paradise Tour with snorkeling lunch etc. Setup via Cruise Critic message board. Best snorkeling I have ever done...LOTS of fish. Great cruise, our only complaint would be the wait times for anytime dining. Usually had to wait ~20 minutes for seating around 7PM. Other Cruise lines have more availability for anytime dining and have monitors to display wait times in the various restaurants. Wish Princess would do this, and provide more dining venues for anytime dining. Fixed dining was 5:30 or 8:00, while we prefer eating around 7:00. Food was good in both the Dining room and Horizon Cafe. Since all these Cruise lines started the specialty dining venues, the main dining rooms don't serve the exceptional food they used to....but this is just my opinion. Not sure if I missed it, or it was added later in the cruise, but there was a menu item added to the Michelangelo menu from Share. I tried the Share menu item the last night and found it to be very good. Entertainment was a couple of good comedians and Magician. Didn't attend the dance and singing shows as they always seem to be the same. Watched 2 of the movies under the stars which we enjoyed. We enjoyed the 2 for 1 drink specials offered in the Wheelhouse and Adagio bars. Princess hasn't had these in our previous cruises with them. We had almost $700 OBC and learned that Princess uses the non-refundable OBC first and the refundable last. Even after shore excursions, gratuities and drinks we still had refundable $$ left and princess will send us the remainder via check!!!! Disembarkation went very good. We had 08:40 in Club Fusion (Platinum member) and we off the ship 9 AM. Over all we had a very enjoyable cruise.
