As with many others, we were concerned after reading some of the reviews about this ship and the crew, thank goodness we are able to make up our own minds. Thi ship and crew is an absolute delight. Having previously cruised on a 6 star luxury mediterranean cruise with Seabourne, we thought we may have set the bar too high. Well Royal Caribbean proved us wrong.

The ship has a character and vibe to it that is hard to describe, a combination of seaworthy experience and modern technology. The boarding process was extremely smooth and well organised, before we knew it we were sitting at the pool bar drinking cocktails on our Premium Package prepaid alcohol package. The bar staff, wait staff, room attendants and guest services were all happy, helpful and knowledgable.

Entertainment was top notch both in variety and quality. When the weather in Port Vila prevented us from docking and taking on the next batch of entertainers, the ships singers and dancers stepped up and created memorable shows themselves. Dining in the Romeo and Juliet room each evening was one of the highlights of the day, the menu variety and quality would rival most specialty restaurants. The service by the restaurant staff (in particular Sumeet and Patrick) was extraordinary.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Roomy, cleaned and serviced as if by magic. We would leave the room in the morning only to realise we had forgotten something and find it completely made up on return within half an hour. Staff were amazing, always cheerful and helpful

Port Reviews

Lifou

Beautiful bay, tender into shore, small market with local produce, no real facilities. Swim in the crystal clear waters.

Lautoka

Short bus ride into town, small Fijian city with markets and shops. Good exchange rates for buying Fiji Dollars.

Suva

Walk the streets, the wharf is close enough to walk, don't need to take the bus which only takes you to the tourist souvenir store "Jacks" which has an arrangement with all the cruise ships in Fiji. Don't miss the farewell by the Fiji Police Band on the dock as the ship leaves, great show.

Brisbane

Embarking and Disembarking were organised and efficient
