My family had a wonderful time on this cruise. Never having been on one before, we did not know what to expect. We had heard good stories and horror stories from some of our friends who took cruises on other cruise lines. However, Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas was spectacular! Our cabin was very clean, always fresh towels available, boat was clean, food was GREAT, and the service provided by all the staff that we came into contact with was exceptional.

As far as the shore excursions, my family did not care for the downtown area/beach of Nassau that much. It was not what we expected. I would suggest taking a water taxi to Atlantis and spending the day there. They have a water park. The next shore excursion was CocoCay and that was just a dream! My family could have spent two days there. So relaxing and beautiful. A great place to swim and snorkel. They have snorkeling equipment included if you book a package but next time we will take our own.

As far as activities on the ship, there was always some kind of show going on inside and from what I could see looked like a lot of fun. We just chose to spend the majority of our time outside on deck because the weather was beautiful! And, very important to us first time cruisers...next time we will wear our bathing suit under our clothes. The luggage does not get into your room until later in the day. We boarded mid-morning and could have been using that time before we got into our room to be in the pool, etc., if we had been wearing our swimsuits! We loved it overall and plan to go on another cruise!!!

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Everything (sheets, towels, bathroom, ...) very clean. The cabin steward was very nice. He remembered our names, which I thought was special! He gave us his card, told us that if we needed anything to let him know. The noise level at night was great. We were very pleased!
