Explorer of the Seas is a lovely cruise ship with great stabilizers giving us a smooth ride. The staff are very friendly with excellent memories and always greet you with a smile. The ship inside is classy although not over the top with lovely marble through out the ship. The beautiful Promenade is a delight to walk through whilst browsing for some shopping although most prices aren't that cheap (except for alcohol and cigarettes - dont forget it is in USD and will depend when you convert back to the Aussie dollar). Sometimes you forget you are actually on a ship!!

The entertainment on board was spectacular and would recommend going to the 7 pm shows as the 9 pm shows are very crowded. Food as always was very nice although I must admit breakfast was more enjoyable at Windjammers (buffet) than at Sapphire (a la carte). We did the premium drinks package this time and it was definitely worth it as most cocktails average $10-$14, beers $5-$8, wine by the glass $12-$14.

The only down side was not all the decks go from the front of the ship to the back of the ship and I think this is due to the ice skating rink being somewhat in the middle of the ship.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

As to be expected with an inside room, small but not too bad. Very quiet part of the ship.
