This was my family's second Disney cruise, last one was in 2013. Disney's reputation for clean vessels, family friendly atmosphere and no hassle cruises is well deserved and maintained. When other cruise ships pull into port next to Disney ships you can really see why you spent more for a Disney Cruise.

The shows, variety and quality of the shows is exactly what you would expect from Disney. They ship is very easy to find you way around and they have activities and areas for every age group, child and adult.

As far as food quality goes, I did see a drop in quality of food served from 3 years ago, particularly in the rotational dining restaurants. Strange to say, but the breakfast, lunch and late night buffets offered better quality. I also noticed many more "a la carte" places where you had to pay for things like caapucino, pop corn, candy and pastries. I really hope Disney doesn't start nickel and dining guests that paid a premium to have a nicer cruise experience.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 05A

Spacious and clean cabin, with a beautiful veranda including table and chairs. The split bathroom is very nice, and having two sinks to work with comes in handy.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Port Canaveral is very easy to cruise from. Disney has their own building and makes the boarding process so easy you will never want to travel by air again!

Nassau

We took a walk to Franky's Fish Fry for some fresh conch. The area right out side the cruise ship terminal is out of control. The locals go way over board in trying to sell you their services, and it could be quite intimidating for those not accustomed to the Caribbean way of life. The government should really figure out a way to bring some order to their process, as we heard many guests say they would never come back to Nassau.

We like Nassau, and know how to deal with the constant hounding and selling of the locals.

Castaway Cay

What can you say?? Take a gorgeous natural setting like an uninhabited island in the Bahamas and let Disney do its thing! Fantastic.
