Traveled with children

My wife has gone on quite a few cruises, this was my third. We decided to take a family vacation with our two children (5 yrs and 3 yrs). I was a little concerned cruising with two young children, but was quickly put at ease.

Drinks: My wife and I had the ultimate beverage package. I found that getting drinks was not as difficult as I was expecting. There were plenty of bars scattered around the ship.

Food: Both of us had the 4 meal specialty dining package. We ate at the following: The Manhattan Room (dinner), Le Bistro (dinner), O'Sheehans Pub (breakfast, lunch & dinner), Savor (dinner), Taste (dinner), Moderno Churasscaria (dinner), Cagney's (Dinner), Teppanyaki (Dinner), Garden Cafe Buffet (Breakfast, Lunch & dinner). The Manhattan Room, Savor and Taste always had the same menu. Food was good, we found Savor and Taste a bit less chaotic and more relaxing. O'Sheehan's had surprisingly decent wings, food and service was good. We really loved breakfast there. Garden Cafe Buffet was our standby when the kids didn't want to leave the pool area. The food was ok, nothing great, but the choices were vast. We cant say enough about the specialty restaurants. The food was great! I have eaten at very high-end steak houses in NYC and Chicago...I would put Cagney's up against any one of them! All the restaurants offered the same children's menu which was great since my younger one is picky and just wanted hot dogs, but my older child is a bit more adventurous. While we ordered from the child's menu, the older mostly eat mine or my wife's entree.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Clean and plenty of room for 2 adult and 2 small children. We were a bit worried about being on the 14th deck and having the pool deck right above us (read some reviews about noise). I can honestly say that there was little to no noise and the children never had a hard time going to sleep.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Loved the guided tour of the aquariums and "The Dig". Also great that we could explore the grounds on our own

Great Stirrup Cay

Main beach was a bit small for all the guests, but we didn't explore too much of the island.
