It was my first RCCL cruise and was there was some good and a lot of bad.

Loved Galveston and the port was super easy to find! Flew into Hobby Airport and it was actually cheaper to rent a car and park it for a week and drive to Galveston then get a shuttle for 3 of us. We parked at EZ Cruise Parking and walked to the port! They even gave us $20 off!

Checking in was a nightmare and very disorganized. I had a special needs child with me and had inquired about utilizing the "Autism at Sea" program to bypass the long lines for her. When I inquired at the port, no one had a clue what I was talking about. Not sure how they were certified because everyone I talked to about it was very rude and stated "too bad, guess you'll just have to get in line and wait like everyone else". Then on top of all that the computer systems went down and we had to stand at the check in counter forever to wait while they fixed it. Also, no lower counters for kids, my daughter's picture was half cut off.

Cabin G

Don't stay in this room or any near it as this the door for disembarking at the ports is right below your room and it is extremely noisy in the mornings.
