Recently my girlfriend and I went for a trip on the Ship - "Carnival Spirit" - my experience on the boat was for the most part excellent. Entertainment was very similar with the three acoustic style acts - rather bland whilst all reasonable/good players - Band in the main bar was also playing some good tunes whilst they looked like they had only been together for this cruise - very tentative and especially the lady who seemed uneasy every night they played - overall they did their best with the unrehearsed band.

Captians Plate was " out of this world " - world class cuisine and the whole boat was a five star experience... service to match - brilliant !

My only criticism was the area for over 18 was a smallish area at the back of the boat small pool and you really had to get up very early to get a "Cabana" .. I also found it really off putting that there was no piano bar pre dinner - with Jazz and music to suit older age groups and with a packed boat there is seriously not enough areas for child free restful time without being cramped and in a tiny pool ...
