Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

This was our third time  on this  fun little trip. Everyone had a great time, the  crew served  fabulous drinks and  by halfway through everyone was dancing!

Aruba

For those who want to  get away from the big crowds,  google SUP Grenada, and book a  paddle board tour with Derek. We got to paddle around Woburn Bay, to a cute little island with a nice beach;we're not expert paddle boarders by any means, and Derek made us feel comfortable and safe, a really enjoyable experience! Plus on the drive to the location,( pick up/ drop off included in price) you get to see  quite a bit of the island,because it's  clear on the other side of the island.

Fun trip with a great snorkel stop by two shipwrecks, plus another stop where we got to swim with turtles, and "walk the plank" ( dive off the ship if  you wanted to),plus there was a rope swimg - great fun, and   the rum punch afterwe got out of the water  ensured a good time on the way back !

When we got started, the boat that was  going to take us, had mechanical issues, so we had to wait  close to an hour before we finally got under way, but  that didn't stop us from having a great time. The crew assured us that  our trip wasn't going to be cut short,ad they kept their word. In the bginning it was a bit crowded because the  people who were on the Zipline tour were on the same boat with us, to be dropped off in Souffiere, and the Snorkelers  stayed on the boat to Anse des Pitons Marine reserve, a nice little  spot in front of a small resort. very crowded, but once you got in the water, it was fine and there were lots of fish and coral in a nice protected shallow-ish area.
On the trip there, the scenery was quite spectacular with beautiful views of the Pitons.
All in all, if you don't like  big crowds, this is not the trip to take, but with the time we had, it was a great choice for us.

This was our second time for this trip, we actually tried to book it through the ship, but it  was full, so we  were able to book it  through shoretrips, and we ended up on the same bus with everyone from the ship. We knew that would happen, because both ads  from the ship as well as from shore trips had the same picture! Worked out perfectly, and the trip was great, the bus ( with a  friendly driver who  pointed out interesting things along the way) took us to a beautiful private home  from where we took a speedboat to a nice calm lagoon and we kayaked around little islands full of mangroves. Then we took another boat trip to Bird island, and those who wanted to  could hike up to the top of the hill for  some spectacular views. There was time for snorkeling or  sitting on the beach,before heading back to the starting point where  rum punch, water and delicious homemade banana cake was served in a beautiful tropical garden setting. They even offered free wifi.I overheard  a few other people being welcomed back as repeat customers as well as us, which is not surprising - the  guides and staff are so friendly and welcoming and  provide a really fun experience.

Overall, the food was great,  there were a couple of meals in the dining room where some people in our group weren't completely happy with their choice, but I personally can't complain.The service on the first night in the Dining Room ( My Time Dining) was a disorganized mess, but by the second day that improved.
