In the Fall of 2015 my wife and I did a back to back on the Vision in the Mediterranean and then a trans-Atlantic so I was very familiar with the Vision. I was disappointed at first that many crew I was familiar with on that cruise were no longer on the Vision. Also the Captain from the previous cruise was on vacation.
Once I adjusted to the not seeing familiar faces, the "new" crew and Captain were great though did not seem to have some of the enthusiasm of the previous crew. I had also been on Serenade of the Seas three weeks prior so was doing some comparison with that cruise. I prefer the smaller ships and find Vision to meet my needs perfectly.
I always eat MyTime dining for dinner and have had excellent waiters and service. If you cruise RCC regularly the menu can get a bit redundant but the waiters are always willing to mix and match to to your requests.
My inside cabin on the 7th deck in the bow of the ship was excellent. Though some people complained about the seas, I didn't feel much roughness. I used to sail a lot so big ship roughness for some is quite calm for others like myself. I think that some forget that they are on a ship at sea where Mother Nature is in control.
I am always amazed by the cabin attendants and how both efficient and friendly they are. In fact, all the crew on RCC is dedicated to making your cruise an outstanding experience.
Excellent tour with combination of river boat, bus, local lunch and ruins that you could explore
I was invited to join a couple that had made several previous visits to Roatan. We traveled by a hired car and did a tour of the island. As we drove around the entire island, the couple visited areas that they had previously enjoyed and we ate lunch at a great restaurant on the water. The driver was very informative giving us a wealth of information on both the history and culture of the island.
Arrived at boat and boarded
