This was our 16 th Princess Cruise, finally "Elite" & loving it ! Leaving 4 hours late because of TV comm. filming, with no allowance to us ! Our mini-bar was nice but 3 of the spirits offered were liquors we did not care for. It took 2 days for room service to make changes. Often they did not even answer the phone, same with the front desk, very poor service & under staffed I'm sure !

The ship looked pretty good from it's brief refurbishment in Dec. but starting to look a bit weathered in some areas. Our cabin was Riviera 630 aft , deck 14, near the rear elevators. Our balcony furniture was old, weathered, & losing paint, time for face lift there. Our cabin was clean, but we had some problems with the toilet not flushing & sometimes a foul smell. We were told this was happening on several other areas of the ship, ugh ! Our steward the worst we ever had, nothing special, just the basics & we had to ask for that.

My suit was dry cleaned but delievered too late to wear the 1st formal night, again not the way to treat your elite passengers Princess !Food was just average at best, the Crown Grill was good, but not worth $25 extra. I think all the up sale Princess is pushing with the "Share" restaurant $39 & "Gastro Pub" $19 will eventually fail, because of the over charges ! Only 1 Pub (sea day) Lunch & it was packed, our favorite break away from the same old lunches offered, disappointing, we love the fish n chips, & bangers & mash !

The room was fairly clean, we loved the comfortable new bedding. The TV was very fuzzy, not very clear. The music & movies available on the TV were poor & not to the liking of the majority age group aboard. No decent r & r or oldies ? Our balcony furniture was old, shedding paint, & needed updating. The toilets were not flushing on several occasions, smelly, & un-reliable. Our neighbors were so upset they demanded a move.No excuses on this one Princess!

Port Reviews

San Diego

Met friends & drove over to Coronado Isl. Great lunch @ Miguel's Cocina across from Hotel Del Coronado, great mex. food, & margaritas. Walked the beautiful beach....

Cabo San Lucas

Love this port, walked the town, shopped & cocktails, chips & salsa at a nice bar along the main path.
