My family cruised the Norwegian Dawn. There was a total of 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 7. We had a wonderful time.

We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale a couple days early on Delta Air Lines. They were wonderful. Everything went as scheduled. Because we decided to leave a little earlier then planned we stayed in two different hotels. Our first night we stayed at the Hilton Airport. They offer transfers to and from the airport. When we arrived it was very late in the evening. We called to let them now we were there and the shuttle came over very promptly. The next day we rented a minivan from Alamo. This was very smooth and inexpensive. Alamo also offers transfers to the Port of Miami when you return you vehicle.

We drove down to Miami and stayed the night there at the Homewood Suites. We got a two bedroom suite that was very nice. It had two bedrooms with king beds and a pull out couch. Each room had its own bathroom so it was very easy for us all to share this room for one night. We also went over to the stored and picked up some sodas and water to have while on the cruise. They let us bring it on without any complaint.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Our cabin was 8600. It had lots of storage. There was 4 of us but I have no idea where the 4th person would sleep. They said they had a pull out bed for the 4th person. It was very cramped. One of the kids shared the extra bed with grandma and grandpa
