I sailed on the March 6-13th, I booked these dates thinking I would be ahead of the Spring Break College Kids, NOPE. It really wasn't that bad as along as you didn't want to get anywhere near the pool. I really did enjoy my time on the Star, she is looking a little worn, but I found the staff to be very welcoming. I had the UBP and the Dining Package; It was a real joke to get a drink, either the lines were so long, or the drinks didn't seem to have any alcohol in them. I went to the 5 O'clock Margarita bar twice, the first time the bartender was so rude I was really taken back, and the cocktail wasn't very good. The next time I went, I asked for a Strawberry Margarita...LOL you can only get the drinks that are on the menu...Huhhh?? I enjoyed dinner at Cagney's, Le Bistro, and Tappanyaki, all were wonderful.

The entertainment was really good, I was surprised, but there was only 2 bar staff servicing in the theater. (I know this review seems like all I wanted to do was drink, but that really wasn't the case.)

I did not sign up for any excursions, rather I decided to explore on my own. I have to say that in Rotan, I felt very uncomfortable walking around on my own. People were very pushy to sell you their wears, one guy followed me down the street, and really creep me out. Even in Cozemul, the vendors seemed aggressive in their selling style. Next visit to these ports I will take an excursion or I will just stay on the ship and enjoy the quiet.
