I had read a lot of negative reviews regarding the Royal Princess, but when this opportunity came along we decided to give the Royal a try. I'm very glad we did. We had a wonderful cruise. I will agree that the balcony size is an issue. We were travelling with friends who had the cabin next door. When the divider between our balconies was opened, it blocked a good portion of our sliding door making it very difficult to go in and out (especially with our breakfast)

I'm not a fan of the new menus! I miss the salmon as an everyday choice but our Head Waiter did get it for me one evening. The entertainment was hit and miss.

The crew were outstanding. We had been to all but one port and enjoyed them all. The Royal Princess is the largest ship we have been on, but it didn't seem crowded. There were lots of activities.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Standard balcony. Bathroom is bigger than other standard balcony cabins on other Princess ships. Balcony too small

Port Reviews

Aruba

Did some shopping and then we took a taxi to the beach. Our driver came back for us later. A great day in Aruba

Princess Cays

Enjoyed a wonderful day in Princess Cays

St. Thomas

Excellent excursion over to St John's. It was rough the day we were there so I didn't snorkel but I did get in to swim.
