Let me preface this review with a little background information. Last year we took a similar eastern Caribbean cruise on the Riviera in early February. It was a fantastic trip and the reason we booked again for this year. We have cruised over 200 nights combined on both Oceania and Regent so we are not novices in the cruising arena . My husband and I are in our early 60's.

The positive: Our cabin attendants were diligent and had smiles despite the massive amount of extra work they were required to do. Their hours must have been increased by at least 3-4 each day for the constant washing of the walls and public areas near the cabins they cleaned. Antonia from the excursions desk was extremely helpful with tours and information regarding our early disembarkation. She provided specific tour information for one of the ports that was very useful and also helped out with the end of ship disembarkation. We met some wonderful people on the cruise and shared some laughs at cocktail hour and especially when we were off the boat. Our weather was excellent for the bulk of the trip which made for some lovely afternoons hanging out at the beautiful pool and at the private spa terrace. The Waves ice cream bar had two great staff members providing daily smiles as well as milkshakes that I enjoyed every day!

Port Reviews

St. Barts

This was a good excursion, but unfortunately the water was a little rough so there was not a ton of stuff to see when snorkeling. The beautiful blue sky day and pretty scenery more than made up for that though.

Tortola

This is a wonderful excursion and we really enjoyed our day in Virgin Gorda. We managed to climb through all the caves and saved enough time to have a drink at the top overlooking the beautiful scenery.
