We just got back home from a ten day cruise on the Celebrity Equinox. We had driven down the day before and stayed at the Florida Marriott Harbor Bay resort, which was awesome right on the ocean.

We were only 2 miles to the port, parking was pretty much no hassle. Boarding, customs took about 30 minutes with no problem.

The ship is beautiful and well laid out. Very upscale in our opinion. Easy to navigate around the ship and there are numerous "Here is where you are" postings and signs so it is easy to not get lost.

Cabin C2

Very well laid out. Great style. Good size bathroom. Fabulous balcony. Fabulous view. Quiet.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Very nice. Nice driver. Saw some really beautiful areas.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We enjoyed the train ride but it was often difficult to hear the guide in the lower deck of the train. Otherwise it was o.k. Saw some beautiful views.

Barbados

The guide was very nice, but the headset given to each guest stopped working half way through and I finally gave up trying to hear her. Saw some historical sites, especially a beautiful historic church and some other downtown sites.

St. Maarten

The bus was very nice that we rode on. We could not get to the french side due to a labor dispute which was nobody's fault. Again, we could not hear the tour guide speaking over half the time and we were only in the middle of the bus. That was again frustrating but the views and scenery were beautiful.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

The directions to the Port are easy to see and the port is easy to get to. A lot of security and police to help direct traffic and guide you if needed. Dropping off luggage was crowded which is to be expected but the process was smooth as was going through customs and processing the paperwork to board the ship.
