We fly to Singapore for this cruise and spent 5 days there before cruising. Singapore is beautiful city-state and I lived its modernity, people and culture. I would like to live there someday, once I win the lotto as its very expensive.

The cruise itself was all that I have become used to from Princess. It was our 6th Princess cruise so we are now platinum and the perks include 25o mins. free internet and expedited embarkation and disembarkation. Leaving was so easy. We were sent to the Wheelhouse bar and waited with few people and once we got off our bags were visible to us as we descended the escalator so it was nearly perfect.

Our embarkation was also very smooth. No hassles like on NCL Getaway where they took snacks that were not in a sealed bag but instead were in a zip lock bag.

Port Reviews

Singapore

We did Singapore on our own and its an amazing, beautiful country. I actually loved disembarking there just to see it again.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

We did this on our now and had a great time with a wonderful private guide. It was the highlight of our trip.

Sihanoukville

It was nice to see this place and to see how people here live. However its also sad in a way as its a very poor country.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

We did this on our own and got a cab in the pier terminal for a very reasonable price and went to Pattaya and the spectacular wooden temple the Sanctuary of Truth. I highly recommend this.

Koh Samui

We saw a big Buddha and took an elephant ride and then saw how monkeys are trained to climb tall trees to fetch coconuts. We were well entertained.
