This was our first cruise with Island Windjammers and on the sailing schooner Diamont. It was everything we had hoped for and more! We wanted to sail, and we did. Everyday we had daytime sailing and it was just beautiful. Just watching the scenery and enjoying the adventure. Every day we anchored and spent the night on-board in a serene bay along the Grenadines. Activities included hikes, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, picnics, shopping and just relaxing on some of the most quiet gorgeous beaches in the world. We had perfect weather all week.

We had 9 total guests and 6 crew. What a great crew! Each member was expert in his role and made sure every one was comfortable and having a great time.The food was prepared by Chef Lenny and it was SUPERB! Every meal was perfect, including breakfast, lunch and scrumptious dinner! We were also treated to afternoon Rumageddon- appetizers and rum punch. We stayed in a standard cabin and it served us well. Steward Bolo took great care of us.

Captain Stuart Ramsey is a real pro. He is a master sailor and has the perfect personality to interact with the guests and crew and keep it all fun and interesting. He planned each day's activities to be enjoyable and not rushed. Read more
