We should have known this cruise was doomed from the start - after trying to sign up for the cheers drink package online 2 days before, the website was saying the drink packages for both of our rooms were already purchased and was not letting us complete the transaction. We knew this was wrong so we called customer service. We waited on hold for 45 minutes and just hung up. We called again the morning of the cruise. After we finally reached someone we were told we couldn't get the same price on the package because it was now the day of the cruise and the price has gone up. We said that was unacceptable because of our previous problems With the website and the customer service rep tried to explain "the difference is only $5" as if we were just too cheap and should accept the price. We explained it's $5/day per person for a difference of $60 for 4 people for a 3 day cruise.

She put us on hold to speak to a manager. We were on hold for a manager for over an hour! And then when they finally answered they said there was nothing they could do and we had to speak to someone on the cruise. You're really going to put someone on hold for an hour after giving them a hard time about asking for the price we deserve only to have someone else tell us there is nothing you can do!? We went to guest services as soon as we boarded and were originally told again there was nothing that could be done. After we really started complaining because it wasn't our fault we couldn't order the drink packages in advance they finally agreed to issue a credit the last day of the cruise.

As for the cruise itself - we spent most of our time at the back of the lido deck in the back pool/jacuzzi area and the casino. At both places the service staff seemed overwhelmed. They weren't terrible but weren't overly friendly either as they were all trying to service multiple guests at the same time. It seemed to me there either needed to be more bartenders, or the bartenders were new and disorganized. There was only 1 bartender for the top deck who was doing the best they could but was very overwhelmed by the number of guests so we never want back.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4H

We liked our steward who kept the cabin clean, but the room itself was outdated.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We did not book an excursion, we went to the straw market which is a short walk from the port and a public beach that was around the corner by Fat Tuesday's. The beach wasn't great but it was free and a short walk away and we just wanted to lay in the sun for a couple hours. There are much better beaches on the island but we wanted something close by and didn't want to pay additional money.
