We flew out of Indianapolis the morning of a blizzard. We were one of the few planes that got out that day and arrived in sunny San Juan 3 days prior to our cruise. San Juan is wonderful and we had a great time there. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Isla Verde and the hotel is great. It has a very nice pool, is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, a grocery store and anything else you might need. We visited the forts and the Barcardi factory.

Sunday sail day we arrived at the port via cab around noon and getting on the ship was a breeze.

Let me say for the most part this was another great cruise. It was out 31st cruise and as always we had a great time. Some of the comments I read on here about poor service, bad food, lack of caring from the staff just are not true.
