This was my first cruise but had many friends and family who gave great advise, plus I read everything on this site I could read.
My room stewart was exceptional. He worked around us and anticipated our every need.
We loved our wait staff in the dining room. However, we were seated at a table which was suppose to seat 8 and there were 9 of us. We were promised a larger table which never materialized. The dining room was very full and the tables very close together. With a few exceptions, the food was very good. The appetizer selection was delightful.
We had a handicap room, which we were advised to get due to my husbands larger size. We were very pleased with the size, but the bed was an inch of foam on a board. I had to sleep on pillows due to a previous back surgery. My friends in smaller balcony rooms had comfortable beds. Why do that?
Good beach
Snorkling equipment was 25 dollars. We only brought 60 dollars and had bought some drinks. Only one if us got to snorkle but they had guys in the water to help. Important to note. The eay in and out of the water is a stair type of ladder. I am a bigger person and it is very accessible to get in and out.
Great beach and snorkling. The animals were a wonderful suprise.Lunch was provided. A good all around experience.
It was ok. Guide was informative. I was sitting facing backwards and missed a lot because I couldn't see things until they were passed then were blocked by other people behind me. I would not sit that way again.
We went to Margaritaville. Had cheeseburgers, great guacamole, and free snorkling. Then we shopped and got some great gifts.
I have visited Galveston many times and love the city.
