My husband and I are busy professionals in our late 50's and cruise once a year. We have cruised on multiple cruise lines but love the butler service and suites on NCL, plus their latitudes program gives us many additional perks. We flew in the day before and enjoyed staying at the InterContinental hotel with an awesome mall within walking distance across the street. A Walgreens across the street also came in handy when my husband realized he forgot his medication. Close to the port as well with reasonable transportation costs of $10 each person.

Checking in went fast and I am always amazed at how orderly and clean the ship, as we arrived and on board by noon.

Our owners suite was on the front of the ship and included not only a front balcony but also a side balcony! The area was large and spacious the bathroom and shower was twice as large as mine at home! The amenities were extensive and overall our total cruise costs were relatively small compared to what you receive....we love the relaxing environment, no car, and little use of our cell phone except to take pictures!
