We hated the port of Cartagena Colombia and were very unhappy when Celebrity changed the itinerary (months after we had booked) to make this a 2-day port with an overnight. This is a frightening, oppressive, hot-as-hell port in a country that is now on the US State Dept Watch List. Beggars and aggressive vendors are constantly in your face. Dangerous and intimidating place -- not our idea of a vacation destination.
We intended to treat the 2nd day in Cartagena as a sea day but it was so hot and humid on the ship while it was in this port, that we had to go into the ship's air conditioning, so we feel we lost a day of vacation. Who wants to sit inside on a cruise?! Had we known it would be this bad, we would have changed to a different cruise. NEVER book any cruise that stops in Cartagena -- it's like voluntarily throwing away part of your expensive vacation.
Otherwise, we enjoyed the Equinox cruise. Good entertainment. Pleasant passengers from US, Canada, UK, etc. Good specialty restaurants. Great weather.

Convenient location on the bump out, mid-ship. Nice size cabin and bathroom. Enjoy having a veranda.

Fury Catamaran Snorkel & Beach was really a good trip.
Cozumel
Sites were interesting but the tour guide was awful. Poor English skills. Failed to contact the ship, despite being asked by passengers, when the tour missed the ferry back to Cozumel and was returning to the ship 2 hours late -- after teh ship was already scheduled to sail.
