Arrived in LA and arrived at the terminal around 1:00 smooth embarkation and was in our room by 1:30. We were bumped up to a cabin at the back of the ship to a Suite. C748. Did not feel any turbulence or noise at all. Beautiful, great perps and service. First day of cruise a pre arranged place for Cruise Critic members to meet and get to know each other was very nice. You knew friends right away. Played cards, Dominos and toured with many. Great time to meet those you have replied with and see their faces. Thanks to Hugh and Mary for setting this up. Visited the international cafe for a snack which was just enough to hold you till dinner in DaVinci Dinning room. The deco is beautiful. We were on this ship 3 yrs ago and found staff we cruised on 2 yrs ago on the Ruby. Our favorite place was the Crooners bar to listen to music by Tommy McFee great entertainment. Our first stop was Puerto Vallarta and we did a shore excursion of city Hightlights which was nice. The port is very clean not like the Carribbean side of Mexico. Back on ship to the Skywalkers bar for quiet time and a great view. The Botiques were very nice and had just about everything you might need. Second stop was Mazatian and our shore excursion was a hop on hop off. Not the best. Only 3 stops and very far apart, to far to do any site seeing because you had to come back to same stop to catch bus. The cliff divers was a disappointment. They waited so long doing pretend diving to make you think this is it. We waited 25 mins before he ever jumped. I would not do this exclusion again. Last stop was in Cabo San Lucas. Did the Whale watching on the 2 Tier boat. Great trip saw about 10 Whales and had food and all the drinks you could handle. Would do this trip again. The food in Special Dinning the Crown Grill is superb. Steak cooked to you liking and service was outstanding. No matter where you ate on the ship is was great. They have 2 evenings that Crab Shack is offered on deck 15 which I give a 5 star. Huge King Crab legs, shrimp, corn on cob, potato, soup, hush puppies and dessert all for $20.00 per person. We ate for over 1 1/2 hrs. Be sure to make reservations early they sell out real fast. Disembarkation was the best we ever had. Waited About half hour then you go through Customs before you search for your luggage and out the door. No long lines with people with all their luggage to push. Over all one of our best trips.

Cabin Review

Cabin C 748
This is a beautiful suite right on the back of the ship. The balcony is very large with a full size table and 4 padded chairs with 2 chase lounges with table between. Bathroom had Jacuzzi big stand up shower, toilet and all in Marble with Marble floors. Second part of bathroom was sink with long counters. The room had couch, chair 2 desks and more cabinets then you can use. 2 flat screen televisions. I could be spoiled in these.
