Cabin: Inside

Being a cruise addict for many years I looked forward to trying this 'highly acclaimed' ship. The reality was somewhat different. Embarkation was smooth and efficient, but as the ship filled up the crush of people became oppressive. Poor weather drove people indoors and overloaded the Garden cafe during most of the trip. searching for a table for a group of 4 was a long job. Food was ok, but often chilly.

Cabin (13246 inside) was very small and the glass doors on toilet and shower gave no privacy. Tiny basin in vanity area was a joke.

In only moderate seas, the motion and bumps were very unsettling and made sleep for my wife very difficult. Lots of vibration throughout ship when maneuvering or getting underway made me wander what was faulty! I have never felt this way with RCI or P&O.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Lots to see and do here. Walk Las Ramblas and see the sights.

Tangier

Full of beggars and street traders, unless you enjoy this sort of thing avoid the Kasbah.

Some nice old buildings full of character.

Lanzarote

Nice town to shop in, or walk through shopping area to a nice beach area.

Madeira (Funchal)

Plenty to see in Funchal, Cable car is a must. Had a trip by taxi this time to island highlights, Great day out for 4 people for 65euro's.

Malaga

Lovely well developed port area. plenty of shopping for the ladies in the centre.
