This was our 6th Cruise with Princess. Once again, I was concerned with some of the reviews. And Once again, Princess met all our expectations. We had a marvelous time. I would like to address some of the negative comments. Our Cabin was what we expected. The cabin steward kept it very clean. The temperature and AC worked very well. The new beds and bedding was extra nice. There were complaints in previous reviews about the size of the shower. IT IS A CRUISE...the showers will not be the size of home. The water temperature was good, no complaints.

The food was good. We only ate in the buffet for the breakfasts and one dinner. To all the complaints about the buffet. It IS A BUFFET. I do think that the breakfast could be improved upon, but the dinner variety was good, food temp was good. The dinner's in the Michaelangelo were always very good with the exception of one night. I would like to see however, more snack type foods. Like nachos, chicken wings and popcorn through out the day.

We only had to somewhat cranky bartenders. The rest were friendly and funny. I would like to say thank you to Jamie (casino bartender) and Melody (Corooner's server). These two people really made our trip.

Cabin BC

Our Cabin is what you would expect. The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature (AC) worked very well. No complaints. The bathroom was also what one would expect on a cruise. Of course it is small. But everything was clean and in working order. I saw some complaints about the hair dryer. It did what it was intended for, it dried my hair. I would like to see, however, the hair dryer moved into the bathroom if possible.

Port Reviews

Roatan

We just got off the ship and did shopping. I found some really neat things for purchase.

Cozumel

We simply got off the ship and shopped and roamed. We found some more really neat things to buy. You do have to beware that the merchants are a tad pushy, but can "barter" them down in price.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We stayed in Fort Lauderdale only one night. We stayed in the Best Western (Cruise Port). It is a tad expensive, but very clean and the breakfast was okay. Just a short walk away is Slackers which is a Wisconsin bar. Being from Wisconsin, we loved this.
