We were a party of 6 that has often cruised together. We all had the Classic Beverage Package.
Embarkation
We had stayed at the Crowne Plaza on Rte. 84. We all took a shuttle to the ship. This was easy since we were the only ship sailing out of Port Everglades that day. A storm knocked out the power to the terminal, which was terminal 4. This terminal in the past was used by a gambling ship and later MSC cruises, It seems very old. Since the walk through detectors couldn't work nor the luggage scanners, they started to "pat down" passengers and manually check carryon's. Luckily the power came on and those devices became operational. We are used to having your picture taken while receiving your card. This terminal required a separate line for pictures with only two cameras. However, we were at the Sunset Bar within arrival at the terminal.
The cabin was on the port side of the ship. The balcony was small Somehow I expected that the Concierge level cabins had better balcony furniture and foot stools. This was not the case. Every day they brought canapés to the cabin at around 4:00 PM, They tasted like stale crackers. The cabin was quiet and had adequate storage. The bed seemed more like a king than a queen like we usually have. The headboard was on the bow side of the cabin
