This was the second time we have cruised with P&O . We did a previous cruise on the Oriana six years ago . Embarkation was quick and trouble free and we were pleased with our cabin which was kept immaculately by our very efficient stewardess . We had freedom dining and enjoyed the flexibility of this and the excellent food . The restaurant staff were courteous and efficient . There was virtually no waiting time .

There were some negative aspects however . We were never able to see any evening entertainment (for the 8.30 show) because it was impossible to obtain a seat . Passengers were waiting in the theater up to 45 minutes before the show started and we never managed to get there in time . The 10.30 show was too late for us . This was disappointing . Obviously there is not enough seating available .

The library facilities were particularly poor . Not enough space , not enough books not enough seating , far inferior to the Oriana library .
