Embarkation:

We flew into Fort Lauderdale the day before our 2 week first B2B. A very short ride to the pier from our hotel. We arrived at 12:30 pm and it was a very short wait to get on the ship. The lines moved quickly and it was handled very well.

Cabin: We booked a mini suite on the lido deck. It was the usual layout. We do like the curtain on the newer ships between the bed and sofa area. We enjoyed being on the lido deck. Easy walk to the Horizon court and a straight elevator ride down to the Princess Theater. I heard very little noise in this location. We were on a B2B and on the turnaround day I did not hear any noise. Our cabin was kept spotless. My only complaint was how rough the towels were. You do not need to bring an exfoliant!! The balcony is small but for us it was adequate. We had the ultimate balcony breakfast one morning and were able to eat outside.

Princess Cays

We enjoyed our 2 stops in Princess Cays. It is basically a beach day. It was pretty windy both days we were there. The buffet provided by Princess is pretty basic and not that great in my opinion. The big plus is not having any vendors driving you nuts on the beach. The tender service runs well and not too long a wait.

St. Thomas

Good snorkeling experience - saw turtles and fish.

St. Maarten

We took an island tour here with Bernard's tours. We went to Orient Beach where we were able to rent a chair and umbrella (plus one drink) for $5 per person. Only drawback was constant vendors going by chairs continually. We also went to Maho beach to see low flying airplanes by the beach. This was fun but very crowded and hot. History of island given by guide was interesting.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Enjoyed a pre-night at the Hilton Marina hotel.
