My families experience was mostly positive aboard the Triumph. Embarkation was a bit like being herded like cattle even if you show up at your specified time. But nothing too bad at all. Debarkation was super simple.

Plenty of activities for the younger ones throughout the cruise. I've read a lot of people complaining about the food. Look, they're preparing meals for just under 3000 people in less than two hours. If you go there expecting a five star dining experience then yes, you will be disappointed. But the waitstaff was awesome. Really engaged with my family including pulling the kids up to dance the Macarena (question spelling) and the YMCA. Boys loved it. The more you engage the staff the more they engage you.

Our cabin was just as nice as any 3 star hotel but with a heck of a lot better staff. Linda our cabin steward was AWESOME! She always kept us hooked up. The only real negative I have was our stop in Progreso. Yuck! Unless you're taking an excursion to the Ruins stay on the boat and enjoy and empty boat. You will be flogged by locals peddling their garbage. Although I did break down and bought a pair Fakleys (Fake Oakleys). Other than cheap clothes, fake purses and sunglasses there's no reason to get off the boat. That said you have the boat almost exclusively to yourself that day. Which was pretty cool. Cozumel was great. Beautiful water, much better shopping and much better excursions. All in all we had a good trip and already planning another (adult only next time). Basically this is a cruise for families or people that are just happy chilling and hanging.

Our cabin was as nice as any 3 star hotel. Was it The W? No. Average Marriot, probably so. The balcony was more spacious than I had anticipated. The bathroom was surprisingly nice size. As was the entire cabin. Cabin Steward Linda was awesome!
