Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

My husband and I decided to take our first cruise ever on the Disney Magic without our kids. Honestly, we hardly even noticed the kids on the ship the entire cruise. Disney sure knows how to keep them occupied.

We flew in the night before and decided to stay at the Hyatt the night before since it was in the airport and close to the Disney transportation. Hyatt does have this thing where you let them know at check in that you are taking the Disney transportation and they ask you to leave your luggage in your stateroom with your disney tags and someone will come by and get them and then the next time you see it is at your stateroom on the ship. It was so convenient to not have to lug all our bags around the airport.

We took the Disney transportation from MCO to the port with no issues. Embarkation was easy considering we've never done any cruising in our lives and everyone was so helpful.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 05B

This cabin was close to mid ship. It had only the bed and a sofa bed - no murphy bed. The split bath was extremely nice when my husband and I were trying to get ready at the same time. This cabin was definitely over a life boat location and you could hear noise when they took the life boat out for training every day. It did not, however, deter any viewing of the ocean as on the Magic, the life boats fully tucked under our balcony.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We booked a private tour of the island with Cheryl's Bahamas Taxi and Private Tours. Awesome and definitely worth the price. Spent 4 hours touring where WE wanted to tour. The cost is approximately $40 per hour for my husband and I and they drive you where ever you want to tour and also have some off the beaten path tour suggestions (which we loved)
