A group of 12 55+ friends just returned from the Fascination. I'm not sure what past negative reviews are talking about in regards to food and activities. We did the my time diNing most nights with minimal waiting time. The food was very good and the wait service very friendly and entertaining. We also ate in the Coconut Grill and were given a huge variety of food during the week. The staff quickly cleaned off tables and kept the buffet area very clean. The entertainment as better than the last cruise and the Cruise Director was exceptional. He was entertaining without the valgarity of past cruise directors. Although I didn't like the "humor" of the comedians my fellow companions thought they were funny.

We enjoyed Nassua going to the Atlantis Casino and then enjoyed the Tiki Bikini Bar for most of the afternoon. We were unable to go to a half moon cay because of the rough seas and we made a quick stop to Freeport. Although this was an unexpected stop and it took 20 minutes to get to from the port to Freeport we enjoyed the quietness of the city.

My only great concern that I shared with Carnival was the fact that 90% of the passengers DID NOT use hand sanitizer before going through the buffet line. This is unexceptable. There should be large signs regarding the prevention of spreading diseases when using haND sanitizer. I used it BEFORE and AFTER touching all the utensils in the buffet line and used my napkin to handle the salt and pepper.

Cabin Review

Porthole

Cabin PT

Roomy cabin with larger than expected bathroom. Only concern was the thick comforter. Not a fan of the balkiness.

Port Reviews

Jacksonville

We got a great rate to park at ParkEZ. They just opened a new lot a fews blocks from the port. Embarkment was super fast when we got there around 10:30. Embarkment started promptly at 11:30 and we were in group 2, on the ship by 11:50 and eating lunch by noon!

Nassau

Took a van to Atlantis $5 a person both ways and the spent the afternoon at Tiki Bikini. Great deals on food and drinks. Walking distance back to the ship.

Freeport

This was an unexpected stop and we were happy to visit this port rather than staying on the ship another day. We took a van rather than bus for the 20 min. Ride to Freeport. We were only there 4 hours so we just walked the beach, shopped a little and stopped in the casino. We really enjoyed the city and plan to go back again.
