There was a huge difference on this cruise on the Spirit and the last one we did on it and it wasn't good. The staff remains the greatest and I have absolutely no problems with any of them but the ship has really gone downhill since our first cruise on it. No more chocolate nights, no more lobster nights and the casino is so smoke filled that we avoided it.

There are more premium restaurants but the Japanese one isn't worth the money and we will never go there again. My husband and I both love Japanese food and this was just horrible. Never again.

The main dining rooms were very good and many of the dishes served in them are the same as in the premium restaurants so why pay the extra. Just not worth it. We had breakfast every morning in Raffles which is a buffet with a huge variety of foods and the smoked salmon, bangers and fried tomatoes were especially good. Service was good and for the most part the staff were attentive.
