As past veteran NCL cruisers , 10 cruises, this was by far our worst cruise ever. Too much alcohol with little control by ship staff. Loud, noisy cruisers keeping late hours - didn't allow for much sleep.

Our embarkation as a latitudes member went very smoothly, as was the carry off debarkartion at Miami. The NCL Sky is a comfortable ship, as 2000 passengers fit nicely. Some lines at breakfast, but overall ok for the garden cafe. We ate in the Crossings restaurant each night for a different tone - taking your time to have a full meal.

We visited Nassau by walking the Main Street, then taking a ferry to Atlantis, which is a small city unto itself. Had a small visit to the casino - then ferried back to the ship. The day at the beach, was comfortable and NCL has invested some resources in making it more use friendly. They have added many beach-chairs and additional areas to eat and relax.

Our cabin was an inside - midship - good location on the 9th floor -easy access to the cafe on deck 11-as well as the shops and theatre on deck 7.

Port Reviews

Miami

We did not spend any time in Miami, drove in and out - days of cruise.

Nassau

We have been to Nassau a few times and enjoy going over yo the Atlantis complex - many very nice shops - as well as a nice size casino. Took the ferry back and forth with no issues.

Great Stirrup Cay

NCL has done a nice job upgrading the island and beach area. They have added additional beach chairs, water toys, etc. - as well as additional areas to eat and rest.
