Cabin: Family Balcony

We boarded the spirit on 2-6-16 for a 3 week vacation. We had originally been on the Spirit in 2010 in an inside cabin which was very very small, so this time we booked a family balcony. Our first week (11008) was booked after we had initially booked the 2nd and 3rd week (11160) which included the Ultimate Liquor Package so we had to buy our beverages that first week which were very expensive. Our cabin was nice as was the balcony which we used all the time. There was adequate storage in both cabins and our room stewards were absolutely wonderful.

Dining: Dining was mostly in the main dining room and we truly enjoyed the food. Our wait staff consisted of Jerome and Lilibeth who provided to all our needs at every meal. In fact, we requested them and the gal at the front desk always put us in whatever area they were working. Most other meals were in the Buffet with the exception to 2 dinners in the Shogun restaurant where we did not like the meals at all. No taste to the food and we never went back there again.

Entertainment: We only saw 2 shows during the 3 weeks on board. After you saw them the first week, all was duplicated the remaining weeks so we did not go to the Stardust after that. We took advantage of the VIP group, the Show band and the musicmakers that were all over the ship.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Cabin B3

Nicely decorated, clean and adequate but it would have been nicer to have had a bit more room for a family balcony.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

No words can describe the mechanics of the space missions that have been done.

Costa Maya

Loved it.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Wonderful

Ocho Rios

Was not my favorite place to go. Would have preferred a different port in Jamica

Great Stirrup Cay

SOOOOO Beautiful - Loved it.

Nassau

We could have spent a lot more time there.

St. Thomas

It is a very nice place to go.

Tortola

Tour was nice but spent an hour at the beach which I was not interested in going to so sat in the bus. Shopping was almost non-existent in the port. Hopefully they will expand by the time I get back there which I intend to do.
