We sailed on the first half of the Journey's cruise - embarked in New Orleans, disembarked and then flew home from San Juan. Have gold status with carnival and have sailed on a number of other carnival cruises. This by far was our least favorite in terms of the ship, the dining experience, and the service onboard.
Here is a rundown of our memories from the Dream:
-no turndown service or towel animal first night onboard, the bed was worn out (sagged in the middle to where it felt like I was sleeping on plywood) -it was very very uncomfortable and my back hurt terribly by the end of our cruise. The cabin was dusty and dirty. The phone was filthy and sticky. It was gross!
We live in Louisiana. Love NOLA! Everyone should visit at least once in their lives :)
Fell in love with Bonaire. Easy and amazing snorkeling. Beautiful water, beautiful beaches. Rented a car and drove the entire island. A fabulous day! Super nice people everywhere. Very laid back island feel everywhere we went. Can't wait to go back there for a longer visit!!!
Small island - we'd rove the entire island and saw all we wanted to see in a little over half a day. Nice beach spots here and there. Not a whole lot to see and do. Not quite what I expected from my first visit to Turks and Caicos but overall we had an enjoyable day there.
Very touristy as in chain everything that can be found in the USA. Beaches were big and nice. Wish we would have rented a car and explored the island more. Good shopping.
Enjoyed our day. Really enjoyed the four wheeler ride. Wish we would have also visited the beach there.
Rented a car and saw as much as we could fit into one day. Breathtakingly beautiful everywhere we went. Highlights included Devils Bridge and the Nest for lunch. Saw many beautiful beaches everywhere. Did I mention their beaches are beautiful? They advertise that they have 365 beaches, one for everyday at of the year. My goal is to one day see them all!!!
