We were a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers of 14 years of age) and this was our 3rd cruise, but the first one with NCL. After reading the negative comments we were a bit nervous, but we loved it. Embarkation went ok and disembarkation went very well (compared to the other ships we've done). The ship was beautiful, the room was a bit smaller than on the other ships, but there was enough storage for the 4 of us. The balcony was a good size and the bathroom was great.

We did not eat at any specialty restaurants. We ate at the Taste, Savor, Manhattan, O'Sheenans and the Garden Café restaurants. We loved everything and have no complaints about the food. There was a good variety and everything we ordered was good. The service was very good at all the restaurants and at the bars. We never waited for service at either the restaurants or the bars. Our favorite bar was the Tobacco Road bar (they made great mixes) and we had a couple of drinks on the terrace.

There is a lot to do and see on this ship. My kids always found something to do. They loved the cruise director Silas and Diesel. The water slides and the rope course were quite fun (especially the drop slide). We always found chairs to sit on to get some sun (if you went to the 18th or 19th floor sundeck). For the shows, we went to see the Million Dollard Quartet , After midnight and the comedy show. We loved all 3 shows (if you want to be sure to see any shows, you better reserve beforehand , especially for the comedy show). Our only complaints were the smoke smell on the 6th, 7th floor (since the casino is an open space the smoke travels) and the internet connection was slow .
