I have sailed on quite a few Carnival ships and always had a good time until recently. The last few cruises seem to be going down from what carnival used to be. I am Platinum.

I have just returned from sailing on the Elation and I must say it was the worst cruise I have ever been on. We sailed from Feb. 20 to the 25th. Guest used to be treated so nice, now they are treated like cattle. We arrived to find our room had a large fan drying the floor. The fan was not removed until late Saturday night. We did not meet the room steward until Tuesday and then just happened to run into him in the hall and asked who he was. When we arrived, there was a half roll of toilet paper on the roll. , Sunday morning at about 2:00 a.m. I had to go to the public restrooms and get more toilet paper because none had been left in the room. Has it gotten that bad Carnival? Are you having to cut corners that bad?

The service was terrible, no one looked happy to be there with the exception of one or two waiters and maybe the cruise director. The food in the main dining room was terrible, I could have gotten better shrimp at Captain D’s. The warm melting cake was neither warm nor melting. It was cold and just chocolate cake. The cocktails seem to have no alcohol or are just watered down so you can’t taste or feel the liquor. I had four the first day before dinner and had no effect whatsoever.
