Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We believe that with the new auto gratuities, our stateroom service was very poor. Their was no friendliness or ambition to clean our room properly. We asked for our bath robes three times and never received them. We were told that they will be coming. It may seem like a small issue but it was a special perk we were looking forward to..

Our waiter was fantastic but she had to work twice as hard because her assistant failed to keep up with his duties. She was a "10". My biggest let down was the lack of insisting on people using the hand sanitizers prior to entering the dining room and windjammer. This should of been adhered to based on the Noro virus you had the month before on this ship. We did not feel like our food was safe to eat. RC had always held high standards for sanitation on all previous cruises. As a person with an auto immune deficiency I was very uncomfortable and nervous. especially eating at the Windjammer. It was very disappointing with this experience because RC was always a cruise line that we spoke highly of. We will now begin to look at other lines to cruise with.

We had our mother traveling with us who is a diamond member. She is too looking at other cruise lines for our next cruise. This is a shame since she has been on 25+ cruises in which 15 or more was with RC. We have never gave such a bad review with RC and it breaks our hearts to do so
