We did a 14 day back to back Feb.7-21 on the Regal Princess.
THE SHIP) First off it's a truly elegant ship inside. Plenty of elegant Marble & Granite everywhere. There are nice pools to enjoy & plenty of loungers on deck (unfortunately a LOT of chair hogs as well)
Do try the Sanctuary! Really worth it! $20 (half day) for very comfy lounger. $140 (half day) for a very nice private Cabana. The "Movies under the Stars" is a full size screen & great sound system. Plenty of loungers & blankest (but arrive early!) Plenty of activities, such a Zumba & dance classes are held daily. Nice dance area on the 5'th level of the Pizza (the central ship location)
Overall good design marred only by the small bathroom & terrible towels. Good TV. Great reception. Bed was decent size (wish the mattress's were a bit longer)
Nice water. Really warm & water very clear. Good buffet lunch provided. We had nice loungers as part of the deal. Went snorkling
Ventured into town. Hasn't changed much in 10 years. Except roads now pave & some buildings as opposed to most stuff on truck beds. We ate at Crazy Lobster. Just as good as 10 years ago. We highly recommend it. Lots of nice shops to buy things. Do feel free to barter a bit.
We've been there many times (most of any island) so we just venture around. Took the tramway up the small mountain. Great view of the harbor.
Very comfy. Kept you out of the sun (I burn easily) Very windy day, so swimming was out of the question. On Feb 15 we returned as part of our 14 day trip. Weather was much nicer & did some snorkeling & found some really nice shells.
We usually venture to the French side (as we are rather shopped out at this point) There is really great "Creole" style food, which enjoy when we visit here.
