Disappointed that the cruise originally booked for 12 nights with 6 ports to the Western Caribbean became 11 nights with 5 ports to the Eastern Caribbean.
The ship is beautiful. The staff was very nice - always pleasant and for the most part, competent. Food and service were good: not great but nothing awful.
We thought Abe Hughes made a tremendous effort to see that guests were entertained - great shows and individual performances. Our favorite spot was definitely the 270 room and café. As far as excursions, we loved the boat ride to St. John and the ride through the National Park (wish they had included some time at one of the beautful beaches.
Convenient mid-ship location, clean, great storage (they should eliminate the low closet rod). Wish the sofa and desk chair were more comfortable.
Pleasant bus ride to and from train. Enjoyed being on the canopied upper level. Guide provided interesting info, trio sang occasionally, and a very nice lady served a great mango daqueri. Not sure it's worth $109 pp.
Loved the boat ride on the Island Girl to and from St Thomas to St John. Lots of info from Steve. Then we took the open bus ride through the National Park. Unfortunately, no time to stop and enjoy any of the beautiful beaches. Well worth the $54 pp
