We had a blast on our very first cruise ever. The Carnival Breeze was so great, we loved the amenities the layout of the ship and the service. The food was really good, not the best I’ve ever had in the world but I never had a complaint and I’m a pretty picky eater. We were looking forward to having our son spend some time in the kids program but we were having so much fun with our group none of the kids went to the kids club. The kids enjoyed the waterpark and we all enjoyed the pools and the hot tubs. We preferred the smaller quieter pool at the back of the ship. There was loud music at the bigger pool and it didn’t suit us.

Ports

Falmouth Jamaica – We had pre-arranged a tour with Patrice Bailey and it was exactly what we wanted. They took us on a little drive around Falmouth and then we went to Blue Water Beach Club. Patrice and her team were so sweet and attentive. Our guide stayed with us at the beach for the majority of the day, except when she ran out to pick up some Jamaican patties and chicken and fries for the kids. There was a buffet at the beach club, you could pay $10 and have some traditional Jamaican cuisine but the kids were not up for that! I would highly recommend Patrice and her team. She is quick to respond to your emails and her rates are really good – much better than the shore excursions. You can reach her at patbailey52@yahoo.com and she doesn’t ask for payment in advance, you pay when you get off the ship which is nice.

Cabin 6A

Our cabin was great. We had three adults and one child and no complaints.

We loved our big picture window and you can't beat the two bathrooms!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like being on the first floor but it was actually pretty great because we always got on the elevators.
