On the plus side, the food, service, rooms, entertainment and number of on-board attractions were excellent. Everything was very clean. We certainly did not hate this cruise but...
Our whines include:
Swimming pools that were too small to actually swim in. With 14 people in the main pool, there was not enough space to swim. And it was not long enough to do more than a few strokes anyway.
The cabin was roomy, airy, quiet, and the room steward was great. No complaints.
Did not have a lot of time here but really enjoyed the beach and the boardwalk in Hollywood. Lots of things to see in the area - hope to get to spend more time here.
We did a lot of exploring on our own here and had a good time. The place was quite clean and we felt safe even when we wandered away from the touristy areas. Though some of the excursions looked interesting, they were too expensive for us.
The developed port area was just a bunch of North American tourist shops - not much of interest. The town itself was interesting but was very small - we walked most of it in about three hours. Other potentially interesting places to visit required excursions and they were much too costly for us.
The beach was beautiful; the water clean and warm. But big hidden sharp rocks in the swimming area really banged up our feet. Not a lot of (affordable) shady spots on the beach. We eventually got bored and headed back to the ship early.
