Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Balcony

Sailed on the Carnival Sunshine on November 28, 2015 for 12 nights. Embarkation was swift and effortless. This ship was not kept up as it should have. The balcony was dirty. Chairs, table and see through panels were dirty and full of salt. The ship was supposed to leave port at 4pm, but left at 7pm. We did not get our luggage till about 8:15 the evening of embarkation.

The service on the ship was pretty decent. Did not take any port or shore excursions since we had been to all of those ports before. The main cabin was decent and clean, but the bathroom was old and corroded. The food was OK. Did not have any children with us.

The entertainment was good as well as disembarkation. To summarize our cruise, great itinerary, but the ship needs another overhaul. We have been on numerous other cruise lines, so the comparison was easy. This was by far the worst.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Cabin was not too bad. The balcony was dirty and corroded with salt.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Did not take any excursions. We did pre-book a bus to the pier. It was on time and worked out well.
