Having sailed on the PEARL previously, I was excited to be on board again and share the next several days with 7 friends. 8 ladies, high school friends, and having all hit a milestone the previous year was a reason for fun and sun. We did have fun, we made the best of the situation, however this was not the cruise we all expected.
First off we had no idea it was a GRONK cruise when we booked and we were NEVER informed of this. The GRONK party people, for the most part were fun and it made for great people watching. Only a few people we ran into were a tad "out of it". This was not a cruise for children, and we saw many.
The first thing I noticed was how unhappy the staff seemed to be, compared to my first cruise on the PEARL. I felt like I had to make an effort to get a smile from the NCL employees. I felt sorry for them, to be so unhappy.
Nice
Clean
One light out
Not enough staff to support the GRONK parties and us "common" cruisers.
Miami was ok.
