We enjoyed our 10 nights visiting the Pacific Islands on Explorer. We have done many Royal Caribbean cruises ( we are now Diamond Club members ), but this was the first time on this ship. We found it to be beautifully refurbished, and particularly liked the Royal Promenade section. Our Junior Suite on deck 9 was very spacious and comfortable, and our attendant Clayton was very good indeed, attending to our every requirement. The facilities offered in the gym and spa/sauna were also very good.

We ate mainly in the Dining Room where possible and enjoyed both the food and the service there. The presentation left a little to be desired though. Windjammer was not so good, it seemed very crowded even though we try to go out of the peak times, and the food there was not as good as we have had on other ships.

We found the service in all areas to be of a very good standard, in bars, guest services, future cruises, and loyalty club, and have no complaints at all.

Very spacious comfortable stateroom, midship deck 9, couldn't fault it.
