Iceberg near Palmer station Antartica
The Captain pulled the ship as close as possible to this large iceberg to give us a better view. The berg was taller then the ship and was small compared to others we passed. Just another example of HAL going that extra yard for its guests
Dawn at Ushuaia before our excursion on the Train at the End of the World.
Wall art on the foreshore at Punta Arenas. The only day we had any real rain and strong winds.

My wife and I did the 21 day cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago with Antarctic cursing.

This was our first cruise with HAL and we were very happy with ship, crew and intinary.

The seas were calm, Drakes Passage was as smooth as one could have hoped for and throughout we were greeted with fair weather.

Cabin Review

Verandah Suite

Cabin A

Spacious enough for two. Lots of storage. Good lighting well maintained. Nicely decorated.

Close to the stairs and lifts. About two thirds along the boat of the verandah deck.

Good verandah size.

Port Reviews

Puerto Montt

Great value for money. Again great scenery and a knowledgeable guide. Nice lunch was provided.

Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego)

Beautiful scenery in a very scenic part of the world.

Buenos Aires

A good way to get a overview of the city and to get your bearings to go off independently later in the day
