Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was not our first cruise but it was our first Royal Caribbean Cruise. We knew that we wanted something longer than 7 days. This was 13 days, a Repositioning Cruise. Initially we chose this particular cruise because it left out of Boston......an hour from our home, and ended in Tampa where we had relatives that we would be visiting after the cruise.

Our boarding was fairly easy.....arrival at about 11:00 and onboard at about 12:00. It definately helps to have all papers filled out as Royal tells you and easily accessible.

Pleasant surprise, we were greated with Champagne as soon as we got inside.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

We chose a D-1 Balcony Cabin.....#9558 King bed, nice couch, plenty of drawers and closet space. Bathroom was small (we expected that) but adequate and surprisingly plenty of storage for toilet articles. Balcony had 2 chairs and a small table......adequate to sit and have coffee or just relax in the sun.

We came on this cruise as a time to rest and reconnect.....and that we did. We found this cabin to be perfect for our needs.
